Drop-in Zoom classes

For the month of January, we're playing it safe, and delaying the start of our Winter session in-person classes.

But we want to keep the music going!  Join us any day for a drop-in Zoom class with your favorite teachers!

Come just one time, or as often as you'd like.

See our schedule, and reserve your spot any time up until 9:00 a.m. the day of the class.  Just $25 per class for the whole family! (No additional charge for siblings or grandparents!)

With Music Together Online, your favorite teachers from Music Together of Bay Ridge bring music class into your home!  We're keeping the music, learning, and community going during this time of physical distancing! Like all our classes, the program is designed to teach in the way young children learn: through play and parental involvement! Your whole family will have a blast singing, dancing, and jamming along to Maracas songs during live interactive classses.

We'll be singing songs from the Music Together Family FavoritesMusic Together Family Favorites 2, and Music Together Lullabies song collections.  You can find them on Spotify or YouTube.

More passive screen time?   NO! Active musical fun with adult participation!

Wait, screen time?

We understand that there is legitimate concern about screen time for very young children, but here’s the difference: YOU!

With Music Together Online, the active participation of the parent or caregiver is key. This is a very different experience for the child than staring at a screen and passively receiving information or entertainment.

Just like in our in-person classes, YOU'RE still the most important part! Your teacher will be on the screen, but it is truly the interaction of YOU with the child that is going to continue their music development!

Just as in our in-person classes, we don't expect your child to sit still or "pay attention" to what's on the screen.

If the adults keep making music with the teacher on the screen, and have a good time, your child will soak in the experience in their own way, in their own time, and show you later what they have been taking in. We'll be giving you lots of fun activities, ideas, and songs to inspire musical play at home all day long.
